Etymology
Aphelia (/əˈfiː.lɪ.ə/ or /əˈfiː.lɛ.ə/) is the plural form of the word “Aphelion,” which is the point of a celestial object’s orbit when it is furthest from the sun. The word is formed from the apo- (Greek: ἀπό, away from), and the Greek word for sun, (ἥλιος, or hēlíos).
Appearance
- Skin tone – Lilac with naturally dark blue blush/tongue/gums/lips and eyelids. They tend to wear heavy eye makeup and lipstick. Has cyan star-shaped freckles on their cheeks and the bridge of their nose that glow in the dark. Has cyan gills on the sides of their torso that also glow in the dark.
- Hair color- Tends to be a deep violet with a pink to orange starry gradient on their right side bang. Always has an undercut on the back of their head from the top of the ear to the nape of their neck.
- Eye color- Cyan with white pupils. Eyes glow in the dark.
- Build- Very short, slightly curvy with a flat chest. Drawing them with other body types is fine as long as they remain flat chested. Tends to always wear platform shoes to make up for their short height.
